Welcome to Golden Monarch Refinishing. By purchasing our products, booking a service, or otherwise engaging with our business, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order or entering into any agreement with us.

Services & Products

Golden Monarch Refinishing provides:

 

  • Custom Refinishing Services – transforming client-owned furniture using paint, stain, or other techniques as agreed upon in a written proposal or invoice.

  • Ready-to-Purchase Pieces – one-of-a-kind refinished furniture and home goods available for direct sale.

  • Custom Creations – made-to-order items using selected finishes and materials.

 

 

Vintage Character & Imperfections

All of our pieces are carefully refinished vintage or antique furniture. Due to their age, these items may display natural wear, small imperfections, or minor irregularities that are inherent to their history and cannot be completely eliminated. These characteristics—such as slight color variations, minor surface marks, or subtle inconsistencies—are not considered defects but rather part of the unique charm and authenticity of each piece. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these age-related qualities as part of the item’s character.

Quotes, Orders & Payments

  • Custom Work: Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure scheduling and materials. Work will not begin until the deposit is received.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion and must be paid in full before delivery or pickup.

  • Methods of Payment: Accepted payment methods will be specified on invoices (e.g., cash, credit card, PayPal, or other approved methods).

Client-Owned Furniture

When providing custom refinishing on client-owned pieces:

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their furniture is structurally sound and suitable for refinishing.

  • Golden Monarch Refinishing is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or issues arising from the age or construction of the piece.

  • While every effort is made to meet requested design outcomes, variations in wood behavior, previous finishes, or environmental factors may affect the final appearance.

Design Approvals & Changes

  • Color selections, finishes, and design details must be approved in writing before work begins.

  • Requested changes after work has started may result in additional charges and extended completion times.

Completion Timelines

Pick-Up, Delivery & Shipping

  • Clients are responsible for arranging pickup or delivery by the agreed date.

  • Delivery or shipping fees, if applicable, will be clearly stated in advance.

  • Once a piece leaves our possession, Golden Monarch Refinishing is not responsible for damage during transport.

Returns & Refunds

  • Custom Work: All custom refinishing and made-to-order projects are non-refundable once completed.

  • Ready-to-Purchase Items: Sales of finished pieces are final. Buyers are encouraged to inspect items prior to purchase.

  • Deposits are non-refundable except where required by law.

Care & Maintenance

  • Proper care of refinished furniture is essential to preserve its finish. Golden Monarch Refinishing provides care guidelines but is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.

Intellectual Property

  • All designs, photographs, and written materials on our website, social media, or marketing materials remain the property of Golden Monarch Refinishing and may not be reproduced or used without permission.

Liability

  • Golden Monarch Refinishing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of our products or services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product or service in question.

Privacy

  • Client information collected for quotes, invoices, or communication will be used solely to provide services and will not be sold or shared except as required by law.

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Updates to Terms

  • Golden Monarch Refinishing reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website or upon written notice to clients.
